Out of the Box into the Wide-Open

So, last night I ordered key chains!! My hope for them is multi-fold:

1) spread the word about supporting and praying for me in Africa (I've got $150 a month pledged, but I need $2,000! So please pray!!)

2) fundraising- I'm taking donations for them

3) long term remembering me :)

4) encouraging my brothers and sisters

So what's so encouraging? Well, I chose my own theme for these little accessories that I hope causes my friends and supporters to reflect on thier own lives!

WIDE-OPEN LIFE!

2Cor 6:11-13 from the Message says it all...

"I can't tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn't fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren't small, but you're living them in a small way. I'm speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!"

I'm doing my best to step out there and see ALL that God has for me. To step out of the box that I've created full of logic, the natural, worries, expectations and into a life with God that is full of unfathomable richness and SUPERnatural!

I think God is looking for opportunities to "knock our socks off," show us what He can do, and share so many cool secrets with us!
